Our Partnership with GoodAPI
With every service booked, Bonaventure plants 10 trees through our partnership with GoodAPI and Eden Reforestation Projects.

Your trees are planted in Kenya and Madagascar, where local community members are hired directly — providing fair wages and meaningful employment. The forests are legally protected in perpetuity through agreements with local governments.

Most trees planted are mangrove species — among nature's most powerful carbon sinks — protecting coastlines, sheltering marine life, and fighting climate change long after your loved one's memorial.

Family-Owned, Park-Rooted, and Built for This Moment

We are Sarah-Marie and Joseph, and we lead an entirely family run team of former National Parks guides, park rangers, and directors. We actually met and fell in love while working in Yellowstone. The summer we met, we fell deeply in love with the park and with each other, and that love has shaped everything we do and everything we are.

Our wilderness-loving family has worked in the National Parks for generations: we have almost a century of combined experience in the National Parks: conservation, exploring the secret places, event planning, wilderness navigation, permitting. This is knowledge that took years to earn, and that we bring to every family we work with.

Apart from our passion and insider knowledge of the National Parks, we also deeply care for every single person we come in contact with: we invest our time and help freely and kindly.

When a family chooses our service, they're trusting us with making sure their last chapter is beautiful. Every detail, every permit, every step of your loved one's journey is handled by our tight-knit family, with precision, care, and reverence.
