The Partners Tribute · Two Lives, One Place · Side by Side · Beautifully Documented
A resting place for two, chosen together, honored together, kept together.
Who This Package Is For: Couples whose wish was to remain together. Siblings whose lives were inseparable. Parents who belonged to one another. Lifelong companions whose bond deserves a shared final chapter. This tribute is for families ready to lay two loved ones to rest in the same beautiful place, at the same time, in a single meaningful ceremony. Available at any of our six Bonaventure destinations, for one flat price.
Together in life. Together in the place that holds them.
For two lives meaningfully linked, we conduct a single ceremony honoring both. Ashes are scattered side by side at the same coordinates, in the destination your family chooses. A shared final chapter, documented and returned to you in full.
"Some people belong to each other. A shared final resting place is not the end of that belonging. It is the keeping of it."
Some bonds do not end. A marriage that lasted sixty years. Siblings who grew up side by side and stayed close for a lifetime. A parent and child whose love shaped them both. Lifelong friends who chose each other over and over. The Partners Tribute Package exists for families honoring two such lives, together.
A single ceremony, conducted with full reverence, at the Bonaventure destination your family chooses. Two loved ones, scattered side by side at the same coordinates, in the same place, at the same moment. We document everything: the place, the light, the coordinates, the written tribute of the ceremony. Your family receives it all, brought home to you in full.
For the cost of a single service with a meaningful reduction honoring their shared journey, we carry both loved ones to the place your family selects. Because the bond is what matters. Because they chose each other. Because keeping them together is the final and most fitting honor we can offer.
For one family, for two people, with full reverence, one ceremony.
Side by Side. Never Combined.
Many families ask us this question directly, and we believe in giving a clear, honest answer. We never combine or mix the ashes of two loved ones. Each is kept in their own container, honored individually, and scattered at the same coordinates in a single ceremony. Two lives laid to rest together, but never blended into one.
We believe each life deserves its own final moment of honor. At the ceremony, each loved one is scattered individually, with their own moment of stillness, at the same meaningful location. The coordinates are the same. The hands that carry them are the same. The reverence is the same. But the two acts remain distinct, because your loved ones were two distinct people, and each deserves a farewell of their own within the greater ceremony that holds them both.
Every ceremony begins with a conversation. Tell us about their bond, how they met, the place that meant something to them both. We will carry them there, together.

The Partners Tribute is for families honoring two loved ones who have both passed, whose bond was meaningful enough that laying them to rest together feels right. Couples, siblings, parents, lifelong companions, or any two lives bound by love, family, or deep friendship. Both individuals must have passed away to use this package. If you are planning ahead for yourselves together, our Pre-Planning page is the right starting point.

No. We never combine or blend the ashes of two loved ones. Each is kept in their own container from the moment they arrive with us through the ceremony itself. At the scattering, each is honored individually and scattered side by side at the same coordinates. Two distinct farewells, within one shared ceremony, at the same beautiful place. The bond is honored. The individuals remain themselves.
-
Because it is one ceremony, at one destination, on one day, with one travel logistics footprint and one set of documentation. The work on our end is not doubled when two loved ones are honored together in the same place. We pass that efficiency on to families who have made the meaningful choice to lay their two loved ones to rest together.
-
Yes. All six destinations are available at the same $2,500 price: Great Smoky Mountains, Gulf Coast (Pensacola), The Whale Trail (Juan de Fuca), Olympic Rainforest, Savage Gulf, and Yellowstone with Sunlight Basin. Two of these operate seasonally (Gulf Coast and Yellowstone run May through October). Our team will help you choose the right destination and timing based on your loved ones' story.
-
No. It is common for one loved one to have passed some time ago, with the second passing more recently. You can ship the first set of ashes to us whenever you are ready, and we will hold them carefully and respectfully until the second arrives. Each set is logged and stored individually with full chain of custody. The ceremony takes place once both have been received and your family has chosen a destination and timing.
-
No. Bonaventure specializes in unaccompanied scattering. Our team conducts the full ceremony on your behalf as your designated personal representative for both of your loved ones. You receive photographs, GPS coordinates of their shared resting place, and a written tribute that bring the experience home to you. This is exactly what we were built for.
-
Yes. Every Bonaventure destination is held to a single standard: explicit authorization from the governing authority, or a legally compliant framework confirmed with that authority. Your family is the legally authorized party to determine the final disposition of each loved one's remains, and Bonaventure acts as your designated personal representative. We handle every permit, authorization, and document required for the ceremony on your family's behalf.
-
USPS is the only federally authorized carrier for cremated remains within the United States. You can request a free USPS Cremains Kit from your local post office. Place each set of ashes in its own sealed, durable container, clearly labeled. Or have your funeral home ship directly to us. Each set is logged with a unique identifying code the moment it arrives, and the two are kept distinct throughout our care.
-
Professional ceremony photographs of the landscape and the moment. GPS coordinates of the exact scattering point where both of your loved ones now rest. A written storytelling tribute of the ceremony honoring both lives. Confirmation of native memorial trees planted in each of their names through the USDA Forest Service Plant-A-Tree Program. Everything documented and returned to your family, in full.
-
Yes, and we encourage it. We will read anything your family chooses for them: a poem, a scripture, a wedding vow, a personal letter, a favorite passage that belonged to them both. Include it with your shipment or email it to us in advance. The ceremony is shaped around the two people you love, not around our routine.
-
Yes. We provide the exact GPS coordinates of the scattering point so your family can return to the spot where both of your loved ones now rest. Many families make an annual visit, walking or sailing or driving back to the coordinates together. The place holds them both. That is the whole point of this tribute.

We do not operate in the gray area. Every Bonaventure destination is held under explicit authorization or a legally compliant framework confirmed with the governing authority. Our team is made up of former park rangers, wilderness guides, credentialed soil scientists and fisheries biologists, an 18-year editorial professional, and lifelong stewards of these landscapes. We know these places from years on them, not from photographs. Every ceremony is conducted with reverence, documented professionally, and returned to your family in full. This is not a logistics company. This is our life's work, and we built it specifically so families can trust us with the people they love most.
